Stop snoring with a Sleep Pro 1
Benefits of a Sleep Pro 1 mandibular advancer for stopping snoring:
- Simple yet effective.
- Inexpensive - excellent value, especially with the support and assistance
provided by Sleep Pro.
- Easy to fit and fully adjustable - you can do it yourself at home.
- A good way to find out if moving your jaw forward a short distance will
stop you snoring, without breaking the bank.
- It is the only boil-and-bite mandibular advancer for snoring that has
a large breathing hole after fitting. This means you can wear a Sleep Pro
even if you normally breathe through your mouth while asleep, or if you
have a cold or hay fever.
- Specifically designed to open the upper airway and stop snoring (unlike
sports mouthguards or bruxism mouthpieces which cannot
do this).
- Lots of our customers are so pleased with their Sleep Pro 1 that they
feel there is no need to upgrade to a custom-made Sleep Pro 2.

The Sleep Pro 1 Mandibular Advancer - very effective
at stopping snoring
Will it stop you snoring? Try one and find out.
If you were to order a Sleep Pro 1 “boil and bite” mandibular
advancement splint to stop you snoring, you would receive a mould as shown
in the photo above. This needs to be heated in hot water and then bitten into
with your jaw projected forward (hence “boil-and-bite”). This
process is repeated until the mould takes the shape of your teeth. When the
mould cools, it is firm but flexible and will hold your jaw forward while
asleep. You do not need to mould it every night.
Fully adjustable through remoulding. If you don’t get it right the
first time you mould it, you can remould it until you find a position that
works for you.
The Sleep Pro 1 is an effective and much cheaper alternative to a mandibular
advancement splint (for snoring), made by a dentist. It is 10-40 times cheaper.
You do not need an instruction from a doctor to
buy a Sleep Pro and you can fit one without professional help,
but some people prefer to get their dentist to do it for them, or at least
ask their dentist if a mandibular advancement splint is going to be alright
for them.
Sleep Pro mandibular advancers work for most snorers; however, special consideration
may be necessary:
- If your jaw normally projects a long way forward or a long way
back.
- If you have loose teeth, loose caps,
or unhealthy teeth or gums (please speak to your dentist
if this applies to you).
- If you wear dentures or have missing teeth.
- If you have bridgework.
- If you suffer from excessive daytime sleepiness, you should see your doctor
for a sleep test as you may have a sleep disorder such as sleep
apnoea.
- Sleep Pro’s should not be used by people who suffer from fits.
- Sleep Pro mandibular advancers are not suitable for children.
