Sleep Pro Chin Strap

We know that a product like a Sleep Pro 1 works very effectively for most people. However, the weakness of any boil-and-bite mouthpiece is that it tends not to stay in place as well as a fully–customised mouthpiece costing many hundreds of pounds or dollars.  Some people find the teeth come out of the mouthpiece too easily. When this happens the jaw moves back to its normal position and the device does not work, or does not work as well.

We think this can be got around by using a chin strap to hold the mouth closed while the wearer is asleep.

As simple as it may seem to make a chin strap, we have spent a long time working to get the chin strap to its present form, trying a variety of materials and designs. We think there is still scope for improvement before we go to the final version and so we are inviting suggestions or comments from people who try the product. There is a small charge to obtain a prototype Sleep Pro Chin Cushion.
